Modi govt may now impose curbs on domestic gold
The Central government may now impose curbs on domestic gold. Some key decisions were taken in the union cabinet meeting which was held on Thursday. Now, households should give declaration about gold in their possession. Even, the Centre wants to make gold purchases online. Meanwhile, the Central government decided to give one more chance to black money holders. Fifty per cent tax will be imposed on black money deposited in banks from November 10 to December 30. After December 30, if any person caught with unaccounted cash then the Centre will impose 90 per cent tax besides fine.
