Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP Supremo attended the Public meeting of TDP and BJP in Hyderabad ahead of the crucial GHMC elections. This is the first political meeting of Naidu on Telangana soil after the state bifurcation. In the wake of Naidu’s recent bonhomie with his Telangana counterpart, KCR, it was interesting to see how Naidu will speak in this meeting.
However Naidu known to be a senior statesman did not speak a single word about TRS government. He went on to say how TDP since its inception played a crucial role in Hyderabad and Telangana government right from abolishing of Patel-Patwari system to developing IT in the city. He also explained people how the development of AP and Telangana is important to him by referring to the ‘two eyes theory’ he took up during the agitation.
Finally he concluded by explaining he is striving for the development of Andhra Pradesh with center’s help and stressed the need of voting for TDP-BJP combine. He reiterated that AP and Central government will work in tandem with Telangana government for Telangana development. He even announced that TDP-BJP government will come in 2019 and this is the first step in that direction. Even after all this, Naidu never made any allegation on Telangana government.
