Amidst reports that BJP and TDP would part their ways, Telangana Chief Minister's meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi has gained significance. In a hour-long meeting, KCR said to have discussed several crucial issues with Modi including state's funds for drought, division of officials, promises made during the state bifurcation.
KCR has also sought PM to increase the number of civil service officials to Telangana as the new state is forming new districts. KCR has handed over the list of new districts to PM Modi and said that the formation of new districts is for the convenience of administration.
At a time speculations are rife that BJP wants to befriend KCR in Telangana and YS Jagan in AP to sail with them in the next general elections. So, political circles are closely monitoring the meeting.
TDP too has kept an eye-watch on the prevailing events. First YS Jagan Reddy met Union Ministers in Delhi and now KCR has met PM Modi.
