The schedule of the crucial GHMC elections is out. The state government had finalized and released the reservations to be followed in the elections. Immediately after that the State election commission announced the schedule.
The Polling will happen on February 2nd and the counting will take place on 5th of that month. The nominations will be accepted from 12th to 15th of this month. Nominations will be scrutinized on 18th and 21st is the last date for withdrawal.
With the announcement of the schedule, the election code of conduct immediately came in to effect. The election commission will be webcasting polling in some sensitive polling booths.
