There was news that autobiography on NTR will be directed by Ram Gopal Varma, with Balakrishna playing the title role and director Ram Gopal Varma has put an end to these rumours by announcing Lakshmi's NTR. Ram Gopal Varma has announced that this movie will be produced by YSRCP leader Rakesh Reddy and also this movie is said to be based on the events since Lakshmi Parvathi entered NTR's life. RGV clarified that he wanted to make this movie above political opinions.
