It is not yet clear if the Budget session of AP Assembly will happen in AP or not. The Speaker is verifying possible places for the session in AP, but government sources indicate that the session may happen in Hyderabad only.
According to the plan, the session will begin on March 1st and the Budget will be presented on 5th. The session is likely go on till 30th of that month since there are 10 holidays in that month.
Budget session in AP will mean that the staff and MLAs will have to be accommodated for almost one month which will scale up the expenditure. The Chief Minister is of the opinion this will be a huge burden for the cash strapped state. A final decision on this will be taken only in the next month.
