Teenmaar News : Bithiri Sathi on Telangana Film Awards

Nandi Awards was state sponsored awards for Telugu cinema, during the united Andhra Pradesh. Following the division, the Telangana Government planned to instill its own award for the Telugu cinema. These awards, which will be constituted by the Telangana Government is for the whole Telugu cinema, irrespective of the state. The names of Kakatiya and Yadadri are said to be under consideration to name these awards. The Telangana Government has given equal importance to both Andhra and Telangana members in this award committee.
