It is almost an open political secret that TRS and MIM will be contesting GHMC elections with an understanding to support each other to win the Mayor seat. Earlier MIM and Congress used to have similar pact and later used to share the Mayor term.
However MIM President Asaduddin Owaisi is not ready for sharing this time. He is of the opinion that TRS can not attain majority on its own and MIM’s 35-40 divisions will be very much need to bag the Mayor seat.
And so MIM wants to completely demand Mayor post and will only leave Deputy Mayor post to KCR. On the other side, TRS leaders at the moment says the will get the majority on their own with out any help.
