Center goes back on one more key promise to AP

Narendra Modi led central government is always being least helpful to Andhra Pradesh after the bifurcation. After going back on several crucial promises like Special Status and Special Railway zone, now center seem to be skipping the Petro Chemical complex promised to the state.

In Loksabha, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced in the house, the state is not suitable for the setting up of the Petro Chemical complex. He said experts committee had examined Nakkapalli (Vishakapatnam district), Kakinada and Machilipatnam for setting up the complex but found all not suitable.

“If Petro Chemical Complex is setup in AP, the incomes will be very less. Cash Strapped Andhra Pradesh could not bear the deficit due to this complex,” Dharmendra Pradhan said to a question asked by TDP MP Kesineni Nani.
