Heavy torrential rains are slashing the Chennai city but still the techies have found no solace from their over demanding MNC bosses. Most companies gave no respite to their employees in this crisis situation and asked them to work from home.
However this is adding up to the pressure of the employees as the city is cut down from power supply. And in several places the internet and even mobile connectivity is disrupted. However IT companies say they must work.
They can understand the crisis but they are being chased by the deadlines set by foreign clients. They defended their demand as they only make employees to work from home whenever it is absolutely necessary. Even when the rains subside, employees may have to forego their weekend holidays for couple of months to compensate this sudden and unexpected holidays.
