According to the sources, latest update is that BCCI advisory committee comprising of Sachin, Saurav and VVS Laxman have approached legendary cricketer Rahul Dravid to know that if he has any interest to coach Team India.
Rahul Dravid has said that he has to give this decision a thought. This retired cricketer has earlier served for head coach for Team India’s U-19 team which reached finals in the recent world cup tournament.
As of now, Dravid is the mentor of IPL Franchise Delhi Daredevils to be captained by Indian pacer Zaheer Khan. While Sanjay Bangar, Bharat Arun and R Sridhar have been serving as Team India’s assistant coach, bowling coach and fielding coach respectively.
