If all goes as per the plan of AP Government, the new capital city of the truncated state Andhra Pradesh, Amaravati, will soon enter into the Guinness Book of World Records. The Minister of State for Science and Technology and Earth Sciences Y Sujana Chowdary corroborated that Amaravati Foundation ceremony would enter into Guinness Book of World Records. Taking many by surprise, Sujana said that the workforce of Guinness Book of World Records have attended Amaravati foundation laying ceremony to record it.
Sujana added that the historic event has a special place in the hearts of people of AP. Meanwhile, a slew of VVIPs, top politicians, celebrities from AP, Telangana who attended the Amaravati foundation ceremony gathered at a star hotel in Vijayawada.
Union Minister Ashok Gajapati Raju shared that Centre's financial aid is must for the new state to flourish. He hoped that Centre would announce financial assistance to Uttarandhra and Rayalaseema regions. Former Union Minister Krishnam Raju heaped praises on CM Chandrababu Naidu. He said that Amaravati is Andhra people's pride.
