Sun rays do not touch Arasavalli deity, devotees disappointed

There has been religious practice since long that devotees have darshan of Lord Sri Suryanarayana Swamy when sun rays directly touch the presiding deity. The sun rays touch the presiding deity when the sun moves from 'Uttarayanam' to 'Dakshinayanam' and vice versa. But this time, such rare incident has not taken place so far.With this, devotees have reportedly disappointed. The rare incident normally takes place during March 8 to 10 and again from October 1 to 3 in every year.
