Thanks to the TRS' storm in the GHMC elections, lives of several common people have changed forever for good. One of them is the TRS Bala Nagar division candidate Kandoori Narendra Chari. Earlier, Narendra was a smalltime auto driver who used to toil hard to make his ends meet.
A class 10 passout, Narendra joined TRS party's Kukatpally constituency and took an active part in the separate Telangana movement and even went to jail on numerous occasions. Narendra's dynamic participation in several movements and party related activities attracted KCR, who appointed him as the President of TRS' youth wing in Kukatpally.
There has been an immense competition within the TRS party to grab the ticket for the newly formed Bala Nagar division. However, Narendra clinched the ticket thanks to the party's high command's support and finally defeated the TDP candidate with a majority of 8,816 votes.
