Veteran BJP leader LK Advani's wife passed away due to cardiac arrest at AIIMS. She complained of uneasiness and breath issues, went unresponsive when rushed to hospital. Inspite of an hour long effort, doctors could not save her and declared her dead at 6 10 pm.
Kamala Advani aged 83, had been suffering from age related issues since a long time and that restrained her to wheel chair. One of the doctors revealed that she was unconcious, unresponsive, pulseless and unrecordable blood pressure, when brought to AIIMS.
Several leaders condoled over Kamala's death. Narendra Modi, Sonia Gandhi, Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, Rajnath Singh were among the national leaders who expressed their grief over Kamala's demise.
Advani and Kamala were married since 1965 February and she left behind her son and daughter. Kamala was a social worker and had been a great support to Advani during all these 51 years.
