With the centre made it clear that it would not accept the demand to accord special status to Andhra Pradesh, TDP supreme called a crucial meeting with his party MPs in Vijayawada.
It is learnt that the meeting would take a decision whether to continue the TDP its support to the BJP led NDA or come out of the centre in the meeting. MPs already raised the demand to withdraw support to the BJP in protest against the centre's reluctance towards accepting the sentiments of the Andhra people.
Naidu summoned all the MPs including Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha to attend the important meeting. The MPs were also asked to share thier views and public mood on the particular issue in the meeting.
The TDP Leaders were already facing the heat in the districts as people were demanding to withdraw support to the NDA immediately. Ministers also explained the Chief Minister Naidu the growing resentment among people on BJP from time to time.
Meanwhile, Vijayawada MP K Nani said his party would not continue in the NDA if the BJP did not realise the dreams of his state people.
