Ruling TDP senior leader Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu has played a beggar role, demanding to accord the long pending special status to Andhra Pradesh.
In his native Chittoor district, the TDP leader visited houses and commercial establishments in vadamalapeta village in his own Nagari assembly constituency and collected money.
He received donations more than Rs 15,000 from people. He said the money will be deposited in CM relief fund.
Naidu said as a mark of protest for the delay in granting special, he has taken up the novel protest in his home district.
