The PM Narendra Modi's maiden visit to Telangana may bring to the fore the differences within the ruling TRS party and also sour relations with BJP as many VIPs including ministers, MLAs have been denied invitation.
Modi is launching state government's prestigious programme Mission Kakatiya and lay foundations for other state and central development schemes in Gazwel in Medak district on Sunday.
Reports says the invitations have been extended to Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao who is overseeing arrangements, IT minister KT Rama Rao and MP Kavitha and a few other ministers only.
Many ministers and senior leaders names have been deleted from the list of the invitees. Except union ministers, the telangana BJP unit leaders were also neglected citing security reasons.
State BJP leaders already brought the issue to the notice of party high command which has been maintaining silence as the centre does want to severe ties with state governments on such petty issues.
