We all know the friendship between Chandrababu Naidu and Ramoji Rao over several years. But a new friendship is blossoming between KCR and the media baron. It is reliably learnt that both the state governments of AP and Telangana recommended Padma Vibhushan award for Ramoji Rao.
Padma Vibhushan is the second highest civilian honour after Bharatha Ratna. Even Ramoji Rao mentioned about both the Telugu governments recommending him in his Thanks note. He dedicated the award to the Telugu people.
Ramoji Rao’s Eenadu Group is one of the oldest and most influential media houses in Telugu states. Ramoji has the history of making and breaking the governments. His influence seem to be so strong that even KCR who threatened to plough Ramoji Film City with one Lakh Ploughs, recommended him for the coveted award.
