Balayya Sings Telugu Unity



Popular film star and Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna is determined to make the Lepakshi Festival a grand success. For the last one week, Balayya has been meeting the who's who in the political and film worlds in both the Telugu states and at the centre to invite them to the 2-day festival which will take place on February 27, 28 in Lepakshi, Ananthapur.

During a meeting with the festival officials to supervise the arrangements, Balayya said that the festival will showcase the rich sculptural and artistic heritage of Lepakshi, along with the legacy of Telugu history, culture and traditions to the world and especially the foreign tourists who regularly visit Lepakshi.

Talking about Telugu unity, Balayya said that even though we are divided by region, language and customs, all Teluguites are one. Recently, Balayya met several Telangana leaders to invite them to Lepakshi festival and told them that the festival will be held as an Andhra-Telangana festival in total harmony and brotherhood.
