Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is still popular choice to lead the state, according to a survey conducted by VDPA Associates. The popularity ratings put Chandrababu Naidu at the top with 51% favouring him. Jagan stands second with 35% supporting him. Chiranjeevi is at distant third position with 4%
59% of the respondents in the survey said they are satisfied Chandrababu’s performance as the Chief Minister of the state. Mean while, 50% felt that Jagan Mohan Reddy is doing good job as the Opposition Leader. 44% of the respondents will vote for TDP if the elections are held today while 39% to vote for YSR Congress. Congress has 7% support and BJP has 3% vote share.
82% of the respondents in the survey opined that Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh should be the top priority and is needed to end all the problems being faced by the state. 71% of the respondents in Coastal Andhra, 59% in Rayalaseema and 57% in Uttarandhra support Amaravathi as the next capital of Andhra Pradesh.
