Maharashtra IPL franchises prefer Vishaka



Mumbai High Court ordered IPL franchise to shift matches from Maharashtra post April 30th due to severe drought facing by the state. Maharashtra cricket board however went to Supreme court but the apex court too supported High court’s decision.

Now, with this two IPL franchises Mumbai Indians and Rising Pune Supergiants have to lose their home venues and in the wake of this, the two IPL franchises preferred Visakhapatnam as the Home Venue. From Tomorrow, The Port City will host all the ‘home matches’ of these two franchises.

Kings XI Punjab however opted out their decision to play Matches on May 7th (Delhi Daredevils), May 9th (RCB) and May 15th (Sunrisers Hyderabad) at Dharamshala. Mohali will host Kings XI matches asusual.

For the first time Kanpur will host IPL Matches: Gujarat Lions Vs KKR on May 19th & Gujarat Lions Vs Mumbai Indians on May 21st at Green Park. Bengaluru will host Qualifier 1 (May 24) & Final (May 29). New Delhi will host a Qualifier 2 (May 27) & Eliminator (May 25)
