While the Andhra Pradesh ruling TDP has already announced its plans of agreeing for the 'Special Package' in view of not getting 'Special Status' from the Centre, the only standing obstacle and crusader of 'Special Status movement' is Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan.
In his last meeting, Pawan reiterated that he still was hopeful of special status for AP and added that he will fight for it if the BJP and TDP coalition doesn't grant it to AP. This staunch stance of Pawan has obviously sent shivering in the spines of TDP leaders and they seem to have decided to pacify the man of masses by explaining him the benefits of Special Package over Status.
Speaking to media, Union Minister Sujana Chowdary said that he will soon personally meet Pawan Kalyan and explain him that AP will receive more assistance with Package than with Special Status. The Union Minister also said that no National Project has been awarded 100 percent funds until the Centre announced the same for Polavaram Project.
'I am confident that Pawan will avert his plans of fighting for special status once he understands the lucrative benefits in store in the disguise of special package,' Chowdary added.
People are eagerly waiting for Pawan's course of action after TDP and BJP made their stance on Special Status clear.
