PM Modi Vs Ex PM Manmohan Singh Over Demonetisation

The demonetisation drive launched by the centre on November 8, 2016 has created war of words among the political leaders, parties including the PM Modi and ex Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Former PM Manmohan Singh, in his Rajya Sabha speech has faulted the centre over the demonetisation drive alleging that it failed to bring out the alternative means ahead of the implementation process. PM Modi, while giving justification to the centre's demonetisation drive, has made it clear that certain problems in the initial period can not be avoided for betterment of the future of people.
