Muslim singer attacked for singing Hindu devotional song

A Muslim singer, Suhana, was attacked on social media by her own community persons, for singing a Hindu devotional song. Suhana hails from Shimoga in Karnataka. She sang a Hindu devotional song on a reality show, on a local TV channel. Everyone on the show appreciated her, including the judges. Giving her a standing ovation, they said that her song heralds Indo-Pak friendship. However, some of her own community persons did not take it lightly. They attacked her for showing her face before men and singing Hindu song. A scared Suhana has gone underground.
