Red Alert: Woman commits suicide on first wedding anniversary

A Central government employee, Bhagyalakshmi, committed by hanging herself to a fan, on the night of her first wedding anniversary, at Begumpet in Hyderabad. In a note, she had mentioned that her husband's family members, including sister-in-law, had her ever since her marriage for dowry. They had formed a great chasm between her and her husband, Sashidar, she deplored. Police have taken the husband and his family members in to custody. They registered a case and took up investigation.
