Shruti Haasan made her debute in movies, as a daughter of Kamal Haasan, but she could get the much needed success and was branded as an iron leg. Shruti Haasan could get the much needed success with Pawan Kalyan starrer, Gabbar Singh movie and since then, Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Haasan became good friends. Now again they are paired together for the second time in Katamarayudu movie and Pawan suggested Shruti to do south movies for a long career, in response to her expression of interest in Bollywood.
