HCL to set up BPOs, IT skill development centre with Rs 500-cr in Amaravati


The IT and ITES company HCL signed a MoU with AP government for setting up BPOs and IT Skill Development Centre in Amaravati with an investment of Rs 500 crore.The HCL is planning to impart training to 5,000 youth and jobs to another 5,000. The AP government agreed to provide all facilities to HCL for setting up BPOs at Gannavaram. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister expressed happiness over HCL initiative. HCL Chairman Shiv Nadar said that there are 980 IT companies across the globe and AP government can generate 10 lakh jobs if it succeeds to bring 98 companies to the state.
