KCR creating unnecessary distance with the center?

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao in the early days of his government stunned every one by calling Prime Minister Narendra Modi a fascist. Many believe that the Prime Minister is very much offended by that remark and the awkwardness exist even one. Over a period of time, TRS looked like they are trying to bridge gap with the center.

There were talks that TRS may even join the NDA government. But the fact is that KCR is still having issues with center. The other day, Union HRD Minister, Smriti Irani revealed how KCR did not respond to or call back her when she tried contacting him during Rohit Vemula’s death. She announced in the house she is still waiting for the CM’s call back from then.

In the past, we have seen KCR refusing appointment for Sujana Chowdary for the sole reason he is a TDP man. Union Roads and Transport Minister, Nitin Gadkari on one occasion had to cancel his Telangana tour as the state government said him they can not provide him the necessary security. The distance with Venkaiah Naidu is any ways there for obvious reasons. This kind of distance is definitely detrimental to Telangana’s interests.
