Operation Akarsh, this massive mission of luring other party leaders into Congress was successfully initiated and implemented by the late Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Rajasekhara Reddy. Now, this successful scheme has been owned by the Telangana CM KCR.
Already, KCR baited several noted political leaders from TDP, Congress and other parties and trapped them into TRS. KCR and Co have been claiming that all these deflecting leaders from the opposition parties are joining TRS with a noble intent to participate in the government's ambitious Bangaru Telangana mission.
However, the reality is different and the opposition parties are accusing TRS of forceful acquisition of their MLAs and leaders. Recently, prominent T-TDP leader Errabelli Dayakararao revealed the real deal behind these deflections.
Errabelli accused TRS of bribing a staggering 1000 crore in a year to five TDP MLCs to join TRS. Giving the example of TDP's Parakala MLA Challa Dharmareddy, Errabelli said that KCR pressurized him to join TRS and even withheld the developmental bills in his constituency. Soon after Dharmareddy joined TRS, KCR sanctioned projects worth 250 crore in his consistency, alleged Errabelli.
Laughing off KCR and his son KTR vowing to eliminate TDP in Telangana, Errabelli said that TDP runs on public's trust and not on money power. The senior leader also stated that TDP will come out with flying colors in the upcoming GHMC elections.
