CRDA had made an initial estimation of 6500 Crore for the construction of the government buildings in the upcoming Capital region of Andhra Pradesh. CRDA opined that it is going to cost 3000 to 6000 Rupees for the construction in every square feet.
According to the reorganization act, Center should fund these constructions. It has to be seen how the non-cooperative center will aide this. The government is planning to build the Assembly and High Court as Iconic buildings given the cost constraints. And the rest of the constructions will be usual and will be executed by local developers.
CRDA will have to allot 8500 acres of plots to farmers who gave their lands in the land pooling. The government will be preparing bits of 125 yards – Residential and 50 yards – Commercial and the allotment will be made accoring to the request of the farmers. The final master plan will be locked by December 15th.
