The prime accused in Katari couple murders, Chandrasekhar alias Chintu finally surrendered to Chittoor court the other day. Police went on an extensive search to nab Chintu all these days but could not manage to arrest him despite their best attempts.
It is now revealed that two lawyers have given shelter to Chintu in Punganoor for five days. They even diverted Police by giving wrong information about Chintu’s whereabouts. The Police now reportedly arrested those lawyers too and are investigating them.
Chintu reportedly tried to escape to Chennai or Bangalore and from there to some other country. But police tightened all the screws. As he found it difficult to escape, he surrendered to court so that there may not be any risk of possible encounter he feared.
