This morning, AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu personally called up Janasena President Pawan Kalyan and invited him to the Amaravati foundation stone laying ceremony. Later, AP ministers Kamineni Srinivas and Ayyana Patrudu met Pawan on the sets of Sardaar Gabbar Singh at Ramanaidu Studios and handed over the invitation card.
Speaking on the occasion, Pawan said that he hopes that the new capital will bring happiness to the people of this state. However, Pawan wondered if he could make it to the Amaravati foundation stone laying ceremony as he would be away in Gujarat shooting for Sardaar Gabbar Singh.
"I will be away in Gujarat shooting. So, it depends on my shooting schedule if I can make it for the function," the Janasena Chief told the ministers. Apparently, both the ministers were in for a huge disappointment as they were hoping to get Pawan's nod to attend the historic event.
It may be recalled that Pawan openly protested against the government's forceful land acquisition and also against the centre demanding the special status to AP. This could be one reason why Pawan is contemplating on skipping the event. Afterall, will just a one-day shooting break will affect Sardaar schedule so much if Pawan really wants to attend the Amaravati ceremony?
