Telangana CM KCR has kept his promise of offering financial assistance to veteran character artiste Pavala Syamala. In the past, KCR assured Syamala of Rs. 10,000 pension every month and instructed the State's Cultural Department's Director to come to Syamala's rescue.
Yesterday, the Cultural Department deposited Rs. 20,000 towards the senior actress' pension for the months of March and April in Syamala's bank account. Expressing her gratitude, Syamala met KCR and hailed his kindhearted gesture and hoped that KCR will aid other financially ailing veteran actors.
Known for her typical dialogue delivery and comedy in numerous hit films, Pavala Syamala has been away from the arc lights since a long time following severe illness. With his latest gesture, KCR has once again won the hearts of film industry people and common people.
