Reacting to Jana Sena founder Pawan Kalyan's open criticism, Union minister and senior BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu said that he is answerable to only the people of Andhra Pradesh but not to the inexperienced politicians. Did Venkaih just call Pawan an inexperienced politician or was he referring to the opposition leader of AP, who have started blaming him for the special category crisis?
At the "Seemandhra Aatma Gowrava Sabha" held in Kakinada on Friday evening, the Jana Sena founder lashed out at the ruling BJP and suggested the MLAs and MPs of the Saffron party to resign. He said that Union minister Venkaiah Naidu had killed the prospects of BJP in Andhra Pradesh. Taking potshots at Venkaiah Naidu, Pawan said that the senior leader played with the emotions of Telugu people and betrayed them with false promise of the special category status.
When asked about Pawan's direct criticism, Venkaiah Naidu said that he only answers to the public. 'Few people are targeting me just because there is freedom of expression in this country. I don't have to respond to them all. They are trying to make this special status issue an emotional to public just to gain political advantage,' added Venkaiah Naidu.
'After a lot of discussion and considering the proposals of 14th Finance commission, the Union govt. has come up with the best possible solution for Andhra Pradesh,' reiterated the BJP leader.
