After causing a minor storm in AP politics with his meeting on special status in Kakinada, Power Star Pawan Kalyan has now diverted his attention towards films and is prepping up to begin his latest film, Katamarayudu, from the 24th of this month.
Until yesterday evening, there was a huge buzz that Pawan will be the chief guest at the audio launch event of former Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy's son Nikhil Kumar's debut film Jaguar.
Kumaraswamy himself flew down to Hyderabad and personally invited Pawan to the audio launch. However, Pawan surprised everyone by giving the event a miss. However, Pawan reportedly made a promise to Kumaraswamy.
Pawan reportedly told Kumaraswamy that he is unable to attend the audio launch event due to some personal commitments and that he will surely make it to any pre-release or success meet function if held later. Apparently, the former CM told Pawan that they are indeed planning a huge event in Vizag to which the Power Star confirmed his participation.
Meanwhile, everyone is curious to know if the Kakinada meeting was the reason behind Pawan's absence in yesterday's Jaguar event, which was attended by several political bigwigs from AP and Telangana.
