Giving an opportunity for all the Indians to feel proud, Indian Army created two new world records on Friday.
Captain Manpreet Singh of Indian Army's "Dare Devils" covered a distance of 75.2 km in 2 hours, 24 minutes and 12 seconds to establish a world record in the 'longest continuous ride standing on the seat of a motor cycle' category. The unparalleled feat was performed at Signal Training Centre, Jabalpur, in front of several civil and military dignitaries.
The previous world record of 32.3 km was held by Ratnesh Pandey of India, whose feat was recorded in Indore in December 2015.
Another World Record was created in "Handle Bar Riding on a Motorcycle" category by Havildar Sandeep Kumar, who covered 46.9 Km a distance in 1 hour 27 minutes and 31 seconds.
