Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao expressed unhappiness over the poor maintenance of roads in greater Hyderabad municipal corporation.
He asked his son and Municipal Administration and Urban Development minister KT Rama Rao his department's negligence in the maintenance of the roads at review meeting held here.
The CM inquired KTR about the delay in the repair of the roads at many stretches and also the reasons for not laying white top roads in selected areas.
KCR Instructed the minister to come out with an integrated action plan for the development of the roads in a phased manner in the next four years. The chief minister wanted hassel free vehicular traffic, smooth roads and manhole free surfaces on busy roads in Hyderabad.
To ease traffic congestion, he directed the officials to widen the roads and also ensure no traffic jams at metro rail and busy road junctions in the future.
