Congress senior leader and one of the key members in the preparation of AP reorganisation act, Jairam Ramesh has branded the Telugu Desam Party as 'Telugu Drama Party'.
He along with AP leaders KVP Ramachander Rao and others alleged that the Ruling TDP in Andhra Pradesh was playing double standards on special status to AP.
Jairam asked CM Chandrababu for maintaining silence on special status when TDP was an important ally in BJP led NDA government.
The BJP has promised to accord special status for 10 years during 2014 elections. After coming to power, the saffron party took u turn and people got a raw deal from the centre.
Jairam said congress will only respect sentiments and aspirations of AP people and will fight in Parliament also.
