In the times when TDP is not making loud noises in the run-up to the upcoming GHMC polls as compared to the ruling TRS, TDP's General Secretary Nara Lokesh is all set to kickstart the party's poll bugle from today. In his first step, Lokesh lashed out at TRS and claimed that TDP will become the kingmaker during the post result declaration equations. The young leader prophesied that no party will attain a majority in the elections.
"How can TRS expect to win 100 seats when the party did nothing for its people in its 18 months reign?" said Lokesh. Ridiculing KTR, Lokesh said that the TRS leader knows his party's fate in the polls and that is why he did not accept Revanth's challenge of quitting politics if TRS didn't win 100 seats. Lokesh did not even leave KCR as he said that the Telangana CM entrusted his son with GHMC responsibilities since he feared that people do not trust him anymore.
Explaining TSP's GHMC campaign strategy, Lokesh said that the campaign will kick start in a huge way with him participating in the campaign from today. Lokesh also released an audio CD about TDP's agenda and its legacy. Lastly, Lokesh requested his party men not to bring flower bouquets and put up his banners on the occasion of his birthday.
Meanwhile, Lokesh's claims of TDP playing the kingmaker's role have kicked off several discussions regarding which TDP will support if it does not gain the absolute majority. Already, TDP has tied up with BJP and allotted 60 seats to the saffron brigade. Will the TDP-BJP alliance pull off any last minute surprises and emerge victorious?
