Exclusive video: Jayalalithaa pushed away from MGR funeral car in 1987

In an exclusive video, Jayalalithaa, who was close aide of MG Ramachandran, was pushed away from funeral car after she boarded it. In an interview, Jayalalithaa had revealed that she wanted to place wreath on MGR’s body. She recalled that soldiers helped her to board funeral car. But, the then MLA K P Ramalingam and Tamil film actor Deepan hurling abuses hit her on forehead and pushed her out from the car, she said. Jayalalithaa stated that she tried to board onto car once again but Deepan pushed her away.
