Tried our best to save Jayalalithaa: Apollo Vice-Chairperson Preetha Reddy
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, after being admitted for nearly three months in Chennai's Apollo Hospital, died on Monday. The Amma (68) died a day after suffering a massive cardiac arrest on Sunday. Speaking to NDTV, Apollo Vice-Chairperson Preetha Reddy said a team of doctors had worked relentlessly and that they had tried their best to save Jayalalithaa. It was a sense of loss for the team of doctors, she added. She said that taking care of Jayalalithaa was a humbling experience.
