Nenu Sailaja had that positive vibe right from the day the first teaser was launched. The buzz around film continued to build with impressive promos and a chartbuster album. Ram who has been struggling to find a right film to come back on track finally finds a right one in Nenu Sailaja.

What is it about?

Hari (Ram) falls in love with Sailaja (Keerthi) after taking a vow that of not falling in love forever. Sailaja too is impressed with him but backs out as her father (Satya Raj) fixes her marriage with someone else. Hari goes to Sailaja's house and starts trying to impress her family. Will Hari's love succeed?

Performances:

Hari character is tailor-made for Ram. He is absolutely flawless as Hari. He has got into the skin of the character and there is lot of honesty in his approach towards the character. This will be remembered as one of his best ever performances. Keerthi Suresh is cute and lovable. She has put up a decent show as the girl who is caught between father and lover. Satya Raj is very natural. Pradeep Rawat has a funny character and he is a surprise package in the movie. Prince got a good character and did well. Everyone has done their part in their respective roles.

Technicalities:

Director Kishore Tirumala has a poetic sense in him. A lot of work has been done on the script. The director has stuck with the script and didn't try to put any unnecessary elements. He has done a fine job as the dialog writer. This is a director's film and there are a lot of moments that have the touch of the director.

Devi Sri Prasad's music is a big highlight. He has done a great job with the bgm too. Cinematography is too good and in tune with the mood of the movie. Editing is fine. Production values are superb.

Analysis:

Nenu Sailaja is a romantic entertainer that sets the mood right away with some poetic scenes. Hari's struggle to find true love is hilarious with some superb dialogue. Love story between Sailaja and Hari is too cliched. Director should have tried to build this love story with some novel scenes. However the ordinary love scenes doesn't get too much in the way as the film runs on an entertaining note all the time.

There is a nice twist to take this love story into family mode and the director did well in getting the emotions right. There are some absolutely well done tear-jerking scenes that will touch you. The film is a highly predictable fare and runs like any of romantic comedies. Despite the routine elements Nenu Sailaja engages due to the good performances and well scripted emotions.

Nenu Sailaja will strike a chord with the youth and the emotions in the second half will appeal to the family audience. This film will be appreciated by the target audience. Masses may find it little boring and sluggish that may hamper its chances in B and C centers. For its genuinely enjoyable scenes and touching emotions,

Verdict: Nenu Sailaja is worth a watch.
