A petition was filed against Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the recent extemporaneous visit to Pakistan in Lahore high court.
Petitioner Muneer Ahmad, on Friday, asserted that Modi and his 120-member delegation paid a visit to neighbouring nation without any official permission. Information that he will take a stop in Pakistan came to light through social media and no legal protocols were followed, he said.
The party to the petition were Airport Security Force, Civil Aviation and Federal government. On December 25, PM Modi landed in Pakistan and met his counterpart Nawaz Sharif. The two PMs held talks at Jati Umra residence of Sharif in Lahore.
