YSR Congress party President YS Jagan's "friend turned foe" Mysura Reddy is seriously planning to launch a new political party confining to Rayalaseema region soon.
Mysura has been staying away from YSR Congress after he was denied Rajya Sabha MP ticket. Speculations are rife that the Rayalaseema leader and contemporary to YS Rajasekhara Reddy would be joining TDP as he was offered a plum post in the ruling TDP.
Political circles in Andhra Pradesh says Mysura is holding secret meetings with many leaders belonging to Rayalaseema districts and expressed his desire to float a political party that will fight for the rights of backward Rayalaseema districts. Mysura is serious about the backwardness of Rayalaseema and wanted to fight at national level on the particular issue.
Mysura is also planning to take up yatra in his own to expose the successive government's failure in promoting the backward districts as developed in the last 50 years. If Mysura floated party, it will dent the image of Jagan in Rayalaseema where the YSR congress party was strong enough when compared to ruling TDP also.
