PV Sindhu defeats Carolina Marin to progress into Dubai World Superseries Semifinals

Olympic 2016 silver medallist shuttler P.V. Sindhu has defeated Carolina Marin of Spain in Group B to qualify for the semi-finals of the BWF Superseries Finals, being played at Dubai on Friday. The Hyderabadi shuttler Sindhu took only 46 minutes defeating past world No.2 and reigning world champion Carolina 21-17, 21-13 to enter the last four stage of the season-ending tournament. Earlier Carolina Marin had said that she was keen on a rematch of the Olympic final against World No 10, PV Sindhu.
