Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, the other day laid the foundation stone for the state of art, Police commissionerate twin towers with estimated cost of 1000 Crore. First Tower will have 24 floors while the second will have 17 floors. These buildings are expected to be of 135 meters height.
These towers will come in 12 acres land in Banjara Hills Road No.12. But on the same day, Union civil Aviation Ministry sent an official communication that the construction can not be more than 44 meters high due to the close proximity of Begumpet Airport. Which means only 14 floors possible.
This will come as a huge disappointment for KCR who wants the towers to be only third on the Earth after Singapore and Newyork. The government’s appeal commit had approached Aeronautical Study to consider their proposal.
