If all goes well, biopics on AP Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will be released just a year before the 2019 general elections.
Naidu's son Lokesh and KCR's son and IT Minister KTR are said to be seriously planning to make films on the lives and times of their fathers and their invaluable contributions to their respective states.
Sources said that KTR held discussions with director Shankar and some Telangana leaders to prepare scripts showcasing KCR's legacy. A digital documentary on KCR's life is also planned. A final decision in this regard will be taken only after KCR approval.
On the other hand, Lokesh also met several ace film directors including Raghavendra Rao, VV Vinayak and others to helm a feature film based on the life and legends of his father Chandrababu Naidu. Scripts for these documentary and biopic will be finalised soon.
