Pak Soldiers Distribute Diwali Sweets To Indian Soldiers

The Wagah border crossing is one of the most intensely guarded borders between the Indian and the Pakistani armed forces. Often, tense situations prevail with troopers from both the countries entangled in gun firings. However, the situation today was quite warm and friendly between the Indo-Pak soldiers.

Today, the Pakistani border troopers presented sweets and exchanged wishes with the Indian Border Security Forces on the occasion of Diwali. Few soldiers and officials from the Pakistan Rangers offered sweets to the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) at the Wagah border crossing.

This is not the first time that such pleasantries were exchanged between both the rival countries. On 14th August 2014, the Pakistani Rangers and the BSF exchanged sweets at the India-Pakistan Wagah border post to celebrate Pakistan's 68th Independence Day.
