Chandi Yagam, A Solution For T- Problems?

The Telangana government is gearing up for the huge 'Ayutha Chandi Yagam' which will begin on 23rd December and continue for 5 days. The Ayutha Chandi Yagam is KCR's initiative to ward off the evil from Telangana and protect its people. The state has been fighting severe drought conditions, farmers suicides etc. The Ayutha Chandi Yagam will take place at KCR's farmhouse on the outskirts of Hyderabad.

Ayutha Chandi Yagam or Satha Sahasra Chandi Yagam is equivalent of 1 lakh Chandi Yagams. For this grand Yagam, the government will be inviting 1,100 priests, veda scholars and seers from various Peethas. 10 tonnes of Moduga (butea frondosa) sticks and 10 quintas of cow ghee will be used for the yagam each day.

Ayutha Chandi Yagam, which is said to be giving 1 lakh crore yagna phalam, will be carried under Kanchi Seer Chinna Jeeyar Swamy. KCR, who is concerned with the tragic deaths of the farmers community, is determined to make the Yagam a great success and he has already invited the Indian Prime Minister and the President.

Meanwhile, the CPI National Secretary Suravaram Sudhakara Reddy has objected to KCR utilizing crores of public money on religious events. Instead, the CPI leader suggested KCR to carry out the Ayutha Chandi Yagam at his own expense.
